Mac`s in Black Mountain

The whole family enjoyed Mac's... even our 2 and 4 yr olds.

Mac's is great the mac burger is A+ well cooked great friendly atmosphere I work in blk mtn on Saturdays and look up places to eat in blk mtn and macs poped up sure glad i found this place owner is nice friendly guy and staff as well.... 4/20/19 is my third time eating at macs and will be more visits to come so give it a try..

Fantastic spot to get food when in a hurry. The service is efficient, rates are convenient, good mood. I highly recommend this place

Just a really good basic hamburger. No frills, the way it should be.

Ive driven by this place for a couple years and stopped. Today I had their philly and was immediately upset that I had waited so long. Honestly the best cheesesteak around and pickles on another level. Really nice people running the place as well and they wanna know your name. Can't wait to get back

I would give it 5 stars if the mustard went under or by the hot dog and not in the slaw,thats why you cant go wrong with the burgers

The go-to place for the best burgers, Philly steak, sausage sandwiches in town -- and very popular during the lunch hour. Limited indoor seating, but a large deck can handle the crowds. A must-visit for Yankees fans.

My burger was better than fast-food, but no better than many independent cafes. My wife's BLT was good. The fries were not very good. I wouldn't make an effort to go again.

I have heard people talk about Mac's so I gave it a try for lunch. Wow, not disappointed. Excellent food. Not your ordinary burger joint. I tried the Patty melt and fresh cut fries. Great flavor. I will be back.

This spot offers wonderful service and enjoyable food. The best spot in town. The food and drinks arrived rapidly and the rates were fair. I recommend this place.

DELICIOUS. Reminded me of five guys but with a better atmosphere. I loves the look of the small restaurant and the food was great.

Excellent service and awesome tasting food!

Food was good. Simple menu: burgers, dogs, fries or chips. Fries were delicious. A bit overpriced ($26 for 2 drinks, 2 single meat burgers and 1 basket of fries). Menu at counter is a bit confusing with prices, so make sure to ask what's what when ordering.Very small dining area inside and some booths outside. Parking is limited. Many folks were parked at the bank across the street.Super friendly staff (3 that we encountered).Would eat again if it's in the budget.Drink fountain has RC products, including Cheerwine, also sweet tea is available.

Oh. My. Gosh. Easily in the top 3 best cheeseburgers I've ever had. There's no need for crazy toppings when the basics are this good. AND THOSE FRIES! Crunchy, salty, GOOD. Cheeseburger and fries, all day.

We ate with Marco for many years at Marco's Pizza in north Asheville. Loved Marco and still love the pizza and other fine food served there. Now called 828 Pizza because of trademark issues.Marco "retired" for a bit, next thing I heard was he had bought a burger place in Black Mtn. My wife and I said for the past couple years when passing thru or by Black Mtn, "let's find Marco's place and have a burger"... Finally this week, we indeed found Mac's and had a burger. Marco remembered all our names and the three of us had one of the best burgers we'd had in years. In my opinion, much better that 5 Guys. We'll definitely go back to Mac's for a visit with Marco and enjoy the great food. Only wish we had a Mac's closer to our north AVL neighborhood!!

This is that type of hole-in-the-wall place with the best burger you've had all year. Trust me, you don't wanna miss it. In addition to awesome burgers, they also had great service and a cute patio with a friendly neighborhood cat named Batman.

My friend and I were exploring Black Mountain and had lunch at Macs. The owner told us we could take any sandwich and turn it into an omelet. The sausage, onion and pepper omelet was perfectly delicious. The fries were the best outside of the beach, and they know how to make intensely tasty coffee. I shall definitely return!

I love this place Mac's is my favorite place to eat you cant go wrong with a good ole burger! Philly cheese steaks are hard to beat too! To this day it is my favorite place to eat no doubt about it! I fully recommend to anyone that wants a good burger to go to Mac's! And the service is just as good!

My burger was not fully cooked. Raw in several places. I had high expectations from all the good things I have heard.

This is my 1st time here. I was in town working and I stopped in for a burger. The meat was fresh and delicious!! Next time I'm in there area I know where to eat. Thanks for the great lunch.

Some of the BEST burgers! Absolutely love them. They have hotdogs, Philly cheese steaks & other sandwiches; but honestly I can't tell you if they're good or not because I can't get past their burgers . . . I just crave them every time I come. And they have the best fries too!! You need to try them if you haven't!
